Here’s a screenshot of the custom order page, where you can even choose to get cold hard cash instead of choosing a gift. As you can see, each referral is worth £17 (the scale is totally linear). It doesn’t take a genius to see (and that’s lucky, because I’m pretty daft sometimes) that even if you pay all your friends £10 to sign up (which will cover their offer) you can still make money or get your great gift for way less than face value. This could be a handy tip for friends who are a little reluctant to sign up for you. Take a look at the gifts page to check on the required number of referrals per gift.
